Kathy Lea Russell, 53, of Ooltewah, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2013.
Mrs. Russell was born in Atlanta, GA to the late Fred and Mary McMickle. She was a graduate of the University of Georgia. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who successfully homeschooled her daughters and also enjoyed gardening and pottery.
Surviving are her husband of 29 years, Curtis V. Russell; daughters, Kelsey (Jonathan) Boling of Chattanooga and Alexandra S. Russell of East Ridge; granddaughter, Charis A. Boling; sisters, Patricia M. Davis of Ringgold, GA and Karen A. McMickle of Ooltewah.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Saturday and 12 Noon to 1 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will be at 1 PM on Sunday, June 23, 2013 at the funeral home with Dale Lovelady officiating. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens South.
Memorial donations may be made to Tennessee Donor Services (1600 Hayes Street, Suite 300, Nashville, TN 37203 ATTN: Family Care Department).
Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist. 404 South Moore Road.

Hope Boling
I didn't get to know you for very long, but your success in raising Kelsey was awesome. Your granddaughter will miss you immensely. It's not fair to us left to have you gone, but I know you are with our Father in Heaven and are blessed! See you in Heaven.
