Keith Edward Riesenberger, 67, passed away at 7:41 pm on January 8, 2018 at home.
Keith was born on December 18, 1950 in Belleville the son of the late Floyd K. and Rosemary J. (Klein) Riesenberger.
He married Joyce Teague on August 8, 1975 in Belleville. She survives.
Keith was a senior product designer for Federal Mogul formerly Moog Automotive for 36 years. He enjoyed everything to do with cars and motorcycles, including his Harley and 1967 Corvette. He was a member of the Looking Glass Corvette Club, avid Cardinals Baseball fan, enjoyed old movies (especially sci-fi), and considered himself a cigar connoisseur. Most of all he was a simple man who enjoyed spending as much time as he could with his grandchildren, family, and friends.
In addition to his wife, Joyce, he is survived by two children Brandon (Tiffany) Riesenberger and Brittany (Jonathan) Russell both of Mascoutah; four grandchildren Elijah and Ella Riesenberger and Sophia and Charlotte Russell; brother Craig Riesenberger; nephew Colter (Adrienne) Riesenberger; niece Rachel Kinney; two great nephews Sean and Benjamin Riesenberger.
In addition to his parents, Floyd and Rosemary, he is preceded in death by a sister in law Paula Riesenberger.
A Celebration of life will be held from 4 pm until time of memorial service at 7 pm on Friday January 12, 2018 at Valhalla-Gaerdner-Holten Funeral Home in Belleville, IL.
