I met Keith when he was Cooking at Richards and saw him a few times at Bonnies. He was a great guy and from my perspective he had a great smile and laugh. When our group of intellectual wanna bes were in Richards playing NTN Trivia Keith would always come out of the Kitchen to stop and chat. He was a good human and I am sorry that I didn't stop (know) to see him before his transition. My sincere condolences go out to his family and friends.

To the Berkimer family,so sorry for the loss of Keith.Over the years Keith and I may have seen less of each other than I care to admit. But when we did see each other it felt like yesterday when I saw him last. He'd throw that big smile at me with a hug. His memory will never fade, he was apart of my youth that made me who I am. Love ya Man !!

Keith was my earliest friend, we walked to school everyday from kindergarten on. The trip home usually took an hour or two to cover the five or so blocks as we would find much adventure along the way, most times ending up in the barn out back. For all the years of sleding at the Retreat House I can't remember being there without him.
Keith was a great athlete and teammate and it was my privilege to compete on the same teams with my buddy up through high school.
I thankfully had the opportunity to see him one last time a couple of weeks ago. I still see the Keith I remembered from years past, huge smile, great laugh, the kindof friend all others were to be measured by. I have been blessed to have him in my life and will miss him until I see him again. I'll wait to hear his voice, his laugh and know that I am home.

To The Berkimer Family: My thoughts and prayers are with you. Some of my favorite childhood memories are at your house. Climbing the tree in the back yard, swimming in the pool, playing Crazy 8's at the kitchen counter... Your long ago friend, Ruth Ann Smith Ralph

So sorry to hear of Keith's passing, he was a dear friend. I will always cherish the great times we had when we worked together at Richards. He took such pride in his job and was an awesome cook. I still smile when I remember back at the chili cook offs we entered and his excitement to always win hottest entry. He was one of a kind, we will miss him.
