COTY, Keith Logan, 6, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2014. Keith is survived by his father and stepmother, Frank Coty and Joanne West, his mother and stepfather, Kaycee
and Stephen Teets, his adoring little sister, Kylee, and baby brother, Stephen, Jr. He is dearly missed by his grandparents, Wesley and Kathee Cagle, Joyce and Louis Bruce, and Edward and Shirlee Teets, and his great-grandparents, Ray and Joyce Granger. Keith was greatly loved by aunts, uncles and cousins. He was a first grader in Miss Shortt's class at Seminole Heights Elementary School.

Keith was a very special little boy, and everyone who knew him was blessed. He was kind and generous to all; he always thought of little sister, Kylee, and baby brother, Stephen, before himself, generously sharing his toys, cookies and hugs. He was a gentleman. Keith was introduced to the snow in Pennsylvania with his dad and in Virginia with his mom and family, and he loved throwing snowballs and sledding. Keith lived with his mom, stepfather and siblings where he enjoyed family popcorn-movie nights and playing with matchbox cars and monster trucks. He was smart and motivated at school and always got along with others there. Keith was a reader who enjoyed Junie B. Jones books and solving math problems. He aimed to please and was especially good at making others smile when they were sad. Keith loved God and his bedtime prayers. All who were blessed to know and love Keith will never be the same. He loved riding in Granddaddy Granger's truck and their Monday afternoon ice creams. Keith left his handprint on everyone's life. In death, he lives on, as his precious heart now beats in a little girl's chest and his organs are already keeping other moms and dads from having to say goodbye to their children. Keith now rests in the arms of Jesus.
A child-friendly memorial service and celebration of Keith's life will take place at 3:30 PM on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Seminole Heights United Methodist Church, 6111 N. Central Ave., Tampa, Florida 33604. The Coty family will host a viewing from 6:30 to 9:00 PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home, 7209 N. Dale Mabry Hwy., Tampa, FL 33614. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children, 12502 USF Pine Dr., Tampa, FL 33612.
