Kelley Heidt Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Nov. 27, 2016.

My shining beautiful Bride for more than 27 years, Kel was also an amazing Mom, Jamma (Grandma), Family member, and Friend. She was an exemplary person in all facets of life. Everyone who met her immediately loved her. She loved life and lived it every day. As she was outgoing she touched many, many people in such a positive way that the love we all feel for her will never go away. She deserved to live a long life but in the limited time she had she made the most of it. She had fought cancer for the last two years but finally had enough of the pain and decided to wait for all her Family and Friends in Heaven. We will all miss her greatly but I believe she is preparing for a huge gala up in Heaven when we all get there. She is survived by myself (Husband), three children, two granddaughters, three sisters, three brothers, her father, lots of extended family, and tons and tons of friends Please celebrate her life and for those that knew her, remember her with a smile.

I didn't know Kelly very well, however, I remember her at many events at Legacy Park. I knew that she was sick, and happened to come upon her facebook page through a mutual friend. My heart goes out to her loved ones and I pray that you find strength in the memories that you all shared.

Your family is in our prayers during your time of grief. Kelley was one of those unique souls able to immediately make a connection with the people she met, and brought light to every room. From ordering dinner for the team during late nights at work, to reminding us all of our real priorities, we are lucky to have known Kel in the brief time we spent together.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family as they all mourn the loss of Kel..... What a fighter! And what a sense of humor! Now she can go and meet with her Momma and hopefully all will be peaceful. We were there when she was born and we are now "there" when she goes to meet her Lord.. May her soul rest in Peace. And, Peace to you, Rob, as well as the rest of the family.

I don't think I ever saw Kelley without a smile on her face. She was like a second Mama to my twins and had a special place in our hearts. When the kids were in high school I have so many memories of them coming home talking about how much fun they had with Tyler and his family. I'm glad I got to spend some time with her at Garretts housewarming. She could always brighten up a room! My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

May you all find comfort in each other during this most difficult time. Kel had such a big spirit and was always so full of life. She far exceded any Doctor's expectations throughout her battle with her illness. She fought it with dignity, grace, and lived each moment to the fullest. I remember the last time we were ALL together at Dick and Carroll's for Thanksgiving some years ago. Playing games and laughing late into the evening. Those are cherished times. Sending love to you all. God bless!

Kelley and I knew each other since Elementary School. What an absolute sweetheart and a very dear friend. I love you Kelley. She was such an positive inspiration to many even though she was going thru her own battles. My younger sister was diagnosed with cancer 5 months after Kelley and only survived 6 months and passed away on 11.13.2015. During that time Kelley kept in constant contact with me and lifted me up even though she was fighting, hurting and worrying for herself. BUT, she never showed it. What we seen was pure beauty....ALL THE TIME. She was one amazing woman with an angelic heart and soul and I was truly honored to be her friend most of my life. Thank you Kelley and I pray God gifts you with THE MOST GORGEOUS ANGEL WINGS! Rob you are in my heart and I love you too, I am so sorry for your loss. God Bless.
