Kellie Ann Kufeld, 43, of Statesville passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center following a sudden illness. She was born August 24, 1970, in Geneva, Illinois, and was the daughter of Debra M. Bergeson and the late Thomas W. Kufeld, Sr. She was an avid animal lover, especially cats, and was an avid Sub-Mariner comic book collector. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Clarence and Dorothy Bergeson. She is survived by her mother, Debra "Deb" M. Bergeson of Statesville; a brother, Thomas "Tom" W. Kufeld, Jr. of Virginia; a sister, Jessica M....
Kellie Ann Kufeld, 43, of Statesville passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center following a sudden illness.

She was born August 24, 1970, in Geneva, Illinois, and was the daughter of Debra M. Bergeson and the late Thomas W. Kufeld, Sr. She was an avid animal lover, especially cats, and was an avid Sub-Mariner comic book collector.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Clarence and Dorothy Bergeson.

She is survived by her mother, Debra "Deb" M. Bergeson of Statesville; a brother, Thomas "Tom" W. Kufeld, Jr. of Virginia; a sister, Jessica M. Kufeld of Statesville; three nieces; two nephews; special friends, Tim Pharr, Jessica Lynn Ashby, and Angie Nance; her beloved cat, Nermal; and several aunts and uncles.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 PM Saturday, November 23, 2013, at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home which is entrusted with the arrangements.
