Kelly Lynn (Palmer) Minor, 55, of Evansville, IN, passed away Monday, January 8, 2018, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh. She was born in Evansville on February 3, 1962, to Kenneth and Janice Palmer.
She graduated from Reitz High School in 1980 and attended ISUE. Kelly worked for the Evansville Water Department for 32 years. She enjoyed NASCAR and playing slot machines.
Kelly was preceded in death by her father; sister, Kristi Palmer; brother, Kenny Palmer; and mother and father-in-law, Kotzie and Kenny Minor.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Wayne; daughter, Jessica; son, Jacob (Katie) grandsons, Hunter Scott and Bennett Minor; mother, Janice Palmer; brother, Darrell Palmer; brothers-in-law, Jeff Minor (Becky) and Steve Minor (Wendy); sisters-in-law, Kim Beavin (Dan) and Penny Palmer; aunts; uncles; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 10:30 AM, Friday, January 12, 2018, at Alexander West Chapel officiated by Pastor Terry Farmer with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit 3-8 PM on Thursday and 9:30 AM until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Water for People or Chemo Buddies.

This has literally knocked the air out of me; I didn't even know that Kelly had passed. I worked for Kelly at the Water Filtration Plant in Evansville IN for two years, and then left for the toyota Plant. Kelly Minor was one of the finest people and the best supervisor that a person could ever be blessed to work for. My God, I am so sorry that I didnt know. Kelly, you were the best! Deb Conner
