Kenneth Leu, 68, passed away on January 6, 2018, surrounded by his loved ones after a long illness.
Ken was a longtime resident of Texas City, TX. Ken was born on April 6, 1949 in Houston, TX, to his loving parents, Fayola McCaleb Leu and Eugene Carl Leu, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his brother, Jimmy Leu; son, Darrell; grandchildren: Sienna and Josh and many friends.
Ken's life work was dedicated to the proud service of his country. Ken volunteered to the US Navy from 1968-1972, serving in Adak, AK as a Technical Sergeant. He then served in the Naval Reserve from 1972-1974. Ken served in the Air National Guard as a Technical Sergeant from 1974-2006 at Ellington Field.
Some of his favorite pastimes were watching and attending the Astros games and spending each Sunday rooting for the Houston Texans while gathered with his brother and friends. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, spending holidays and special occasions with friends and family.
Ken will be remembered as a loyal and loving man, a patriot in the truest sense of the word, a proud son of the Lone Star State, his humor and wit.
