Born on July 26, 1924, he passed away peacefully on August 25, 2012, at Albright Residence. Predeceased by his wife Eileen Grace Anderson. He will be sadly missed by his children Nancy Lynn (David), Keith Anderson (Colleen), Neil Anderson (Susan) and Marilyn Powell (Les), his grandchildren Derek, Kimberly, Karen, Kyle, Jeffery, Heather, Sarah, Scott and Daniel, and eleven great-grandchildren, as well as his sister Annetta Atkinson (Warren) and cousin Doreen Leish (the late John).

After the end of the war he attended University of Toronto earning a Mechanical Engineering degree; was employed at Hayes-Dana (Merritton), Beaver Lumber (Thorold), and Niagara College (Welland). A long time resident of Port Dalhousie he served on Port Dalhousie and Lincoln County Boards of Education, and was a President of Clan MacFarlane Pipe Band. We would like to extend a sincere thank you to the 5th floor staff of Albright Residence, Beamsville, for their special care.
