Born on July 26, 1924, he passed away peacefully on August 25, 2012, at Albright Residence. Predeceased by his wife Eileen Grace Anderson. He will be sadly missed by his children Nancy Lynn (David), Keith Anderson (Colleen), Neil Anderson (Susan) and Marilyn Powell (Les), his grandchildren Derek, Kimberly, Karen, Kyle, Jeffery, Heather, Sarah, Scott and Daniel, and eleven great-grandchildren, as well as his sister Annetta Atkinson (Warren) and cousin Doreen Leish (the late John).
Kenneth was a veteran of WWII; he served as a Lieutenant in the RCNVR aboard HMCS Vision and HMCS Chaudiere. After the end of the war he attended University of Toronto earning a Mechanical Engineering degree; was employed at Hayes-Dana (Merritton), Beaver Lumber (Thorold), and Niagara College (Welland). A long time resident of Port Dalhousie he served on Port Dalhousie and Lincoln County Boards of Education, and was a President of Clan MacFarlane Pipe Band. We would like to extend a sincere thank you to the 5th floor staff of Albright Residence, Beamsville, for their special care.
The family will receive friends at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church St. (904-684-6346) on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew's Church in Port Dalhousie, with visitation at the church an hour prior to the service. Reception to follow after the service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to St. Andrew's Church would be appreciated. On-line tributes may be made at www.hulseandenglish.com

My condolences to Neil and his siblings on the passing of their father. I will always remember Ken at the Clan MacFarlane PB practices, getting the coffee ready for all the bleary eyed on a Sunday morning.
