Obituary

Kenneth Arsenault, age 81, of Dartmouth, died Wednesday, April 4, 2012. He was the husband of the late Jean (Ricardo) Arsenault. Born in Newark, New Jersey, a son of the late Harold and Gertrude Jones, he had lived in New Bedford for most of his life until moving to Dartmouth in 2010. Mr. Arsenault served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He later worked at Goodyear in New Bedford for 32 years, retiring in 1991. He enjoyed bowling, playing pool and watching various sports. He especially enjoyed his trips to Newport Grand Jai Alai. Kenneth Arsenault, age 81, of Dartmouth, died Wednesday, April 4, 2012. He was the husband of the late Jean (Ricardo) Arsenault.

Born in Newark, New Jersey, a son of the late Harold and Gertrude Jones, he had lived in New Bedford for most of his life until moving to Dartmouth in 2010.

Mr. Arsenault served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He later worked at Goodyear in New Bedford for 32 years, retiring in 1991. He enjoyed bowling, playing pool and watching various sports. He especially enjoyed his trips to Newport Grand Jai Alai.

Survivors include two sons, Randy Arsenault and his wife Nancy of Rochester and Jay Arsenault and his partner Donald Menezes of Spring Hill, Florida; one daughter, Donna Rogers and her husband Kenneth of Bradenton, Florida; one brother, Harold Jones of Sacramento, California; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was also the father of the late Robin Rhodes and Kenneth Arsenault Jr.

A service will be held Monday, April 9, 2012 at 7 PM in the ROCK Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford. Visiting hours Monday 4-7 PM prior to the service. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in his honor to, , 311 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
