When God Called You

We little knew that morning
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly.
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
you did not go alone,
For part of us went with you,
the day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories.
Your love is still our guide.
And though we cannot see you,
you are always by our side.
Our family chain is broken.
Nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us one by one,
the chain will link again.

Julie

Dad, I did not forget your would have been "90th Birthday". Wow, 12/11/24 was a long time ago! I went to the church and lit candles for you and Mom. You had the best seat in the house this year, real Angel Cake! I hope the Heavenly Chorus sang "Happy Birthday To You". Love and Miss You!

Your Loving Daughter, Julie

Dad, God blessed our family with you. So many memories, a life well lived, a tough guy to the end. We endured a lot together, but always with a loving heart! What are we going to do and where are we going tomorrow? I don't know, I still take one day at a time! You are truly missed and will forever be in my heart and prayers.

So sorry to hear about the death of Uncle Kenny...he was always one of my favorite uncles. I always enjoyed visiting with him and Aunt Janet. They were always such a sweet couple with kind words. I also remember him singing with his other brothers at the family reunions...such great memories. May God be with all of you at this difficult time and bless you with His peace knowing that Kenny and Janet are together again.

Years ago, when Jim (deceased) & I lived in Ft.Wayne, we used to drive over to Mishawaka or whereever the Barbershop Singers were singing! Dad Jim (Len's Brother) always enjoyed them, too & usually came with us! My deepest sympathy to all! Carole Chamberlin (Jim & Kate's Daughter-in-Law)

I remember the last time I saw Kenny and Janet. I had drove Mom down to see them and she was so happy to see them. So sorry I wasn't able to drive her down for the funeral but she just can't ride in a car that long. I have many memories of both Kenny and Janet and our get-togethers with all our families. Kenny has lived a long fruitful life and I'm sure he is up in heaven singing to God and seeing Janet again. They were always such a beautiful couple. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this hard time. May God grant you peace.
