Kenneth Edward Fulghum, 87, died Saturday, October 5, 2013. He was born in Middlesex, NC on March 2, 1926 to Kenneth Milton and Mary Ella Johnson Fulghum. Ed served in the US Army during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his children, Debra Durham and her husband, Ralph, Ken Fulghum and his girlfriend, Sharon Shelton, and Steve Fulghum and his wife, Janie; grandchildren, Paul, Bryan, Kristen, Craig and his girlfriend, Meghan, and Brittany; great grandchildren, Madison, Aiden, and Carter. In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Barfield Fulghum. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m....

In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Barfield Fulghum.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 S.E. Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511. Burial will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Military Missions in Action, 411 Judd Pkwy, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.
