Lance and I just learned of Ken's passing and are sadden by the loss of a good friend and colleague. Lance and I will always cherish the many days and hours spent at Seattle East Cafe' and Zola"s; eating good food, drinking awesome coffee and having invigorating conversations. We miss you and love you Ken.

Despite best laid plans, unexpected events caused me to miss Ken's memorial service today. My sincere condolences to his family. Ken was one of a kind. He patiently bailed me out after trashing my computer on more than one occasion. Again, condolences from a fellow Sinclair adjunct professor.

I was not a full time student with Mr. Hook but through his free computer repair shop I learned a lot. He never wanted to stop teaching his students everything he knew. We lost a great person that would always give everything.

The Adjunct Faculty Office at Sinclair Community College is saddened by the news of Ken's passing. He was a great member of our faculty, not to mention a wonderful computer assistant. Many of the staff and adjunct faculty members here availed themselves the use of his SCOPE lab. Ken was a bright and patient teacher as well, even to those who were not his students. He will be missed.

Ken Hook was great. He was one of the best professors I've ever had and he will be greatly missed. I was shocked to hear about the news of Ken passing because it was so random. He will be missed and forever in my memories. I will keep Ken and the ones who hold him close in my prayers!

Ken and I shared the same teaching philosophy - make the learning experience real, meaningful and fun, at whatever the cost. He's a friend that will be missed.

I'm so sadden by the news of Ken's passing. He was the best teacher ever, so patient and made sure that you understood the information before proceeding on with the lesson. Such a gentle and kind soul. He helped me so much with my classes and now I have a BS degree. I can say that I truly loved him and will miss him.

Mr. Hook was one of the most involved teachers I ever had. He as well as all of the Male teachers we had at Grace A. Green were Father Figures to most of the kids at the school. A great man that I can Assure you Changed and Saved a lot of kids lifes but always stayed humble about it. Sorry for your loss.
