I was so sad to hear about Ken's passing! I worked at the Surgery Center where he was one of the best volunteers ever! I really loved "Mr. Ken" and I wish I would have seen his obituary in the paper. I'm so sorry I missed his service. Please accept my deepest condolences and I hope you know how much he was loved by all of us who worked with him

Years ago I worked with Ken in the New Bern Emergency Room. When he was there, the day always seemed a bit brighter and work was definitely easier; Ken was always willing to lend a helping hand wherever it was needed. And later when I met Ken at the Tryon Palace, he was just the same, happy and helpful. Thank you Ken for providing such a beautiful example to all of us.

Sorry to learn of Ken's passing. I worked with him at Tryon Palace Shops and he was wonderful to work with and we all marveled how much he could do as he was older then us. May God bless you all with strength and may your memories be comfort to you.
