The Patti family is so sorry for your loss. I remember your dad sitting in the family room watching the game and smoking good cigars. Also the time he asked us to stop pounding on the wheel bearing of a car we were working on in the garage in Sterling Hts. forget the fact that it was 11:00 at night. I always had so much respect for him. Prayers are sent you way, knowing that the Lord will comfort you during this time. Celibrate his life, he is a good man that will be welcomed in God's eternal house.

God bless Ken and his family. Ken was one of my links to the old time Macomb Bar Assoc. that my father knew and loved and I now follow in their footsteps. I heard many stories from Ken about the good times the members of the 50s and 60s had at the various social functions.Ken was a lawyers lawyer! Sorry I will be out of town for his service.

As a young lawyer,I had the great luck to be hired by what was then Butler and Martin, Attorneys at law. Ken became my mentor, sometimes gentle critic, and finally, I'm proud to say, friend. His sharp wit, common sense approach to the law, and basic goodness of character were a model to me in those formative "young guy" years. Thanks again, Ken. I guess we'll have our next scotch together in your "new" office!

On behalf of the Scott family (Richard and Marion), I would like to send our deepest condolences. Mr. Martin had a wonderful sense of humor and my parents thoroughly enjoyed getting together with Ken and Claudia while we lived on Rosemont. I remember Ken delivering the introduction at my dad's retirement party from the Roseville Police Department - he was quite the character. He is in a better place with all his friends and not suffering. Richard and Marion are, once again, enjoying his company. He will always be remembered. Our prayers go out to your family during this difficult time.

Ken was a remarkable man - straightforward, principled, tremendous sense of humor, and a lawyer's lawyer.

Our condolences to Ken's family. We knew him through my sister, Judge Mary McDevitt. They were long time friends and he was a consistent speaker at all of her functions where he shared his famous humor, often at his expense. His favorite story dated to their only encounter as political opponents in the 1950's when he stated he only got one vote and it wasn't his wife's! He will be missed by many.

Uncle Ken will be missed. All of us in the Patrick and Mary Sullivan family grew up with his mischevious spirit. I personally remember playing cards with him for hours on end. He took extra time to show me the "real" way to shuffle cards - a talent I have maintained to today. Our thoughts are with all of you while you celebrate his life and mourn his passing. Love - Claudia, Carol, David and Ken.

So sorry to hear of Ken's passing. My sympathy to all of you. I worked for Ken as his secretary at Butler & Martin when they were on Gratiot and at that time he was like a 2nd Dad to me. May he rest in peace.
