Kenneth M. Mims, 84, went home to the Lord on March 17, 2011. Ken grew up in Lake Charles, LA. He served in the US Navy during WWII. He returned home to marry his highschool sweetheart Dotty LaBauve. A lifelong salesman, he was currently working for his dear friend Ron Harris of Linron Company. Ken was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to many. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dotty, his son John D. Mims, and Great Grandson Ryder Laurent, He is survived by 2 daughters, Jan Branam and husband Jack, Joan Turley and husband Ken, 2 sons, Robin Mims and wife Tammy, Lance Mims, Grandchildren,...

Mims, and Great Grandson Ryder Laurent, He is survived by 2 daughters, Jan Branam and husband Jack, Joan Turley and husband Ken, 2 sons, Robin Mims and wife Tammy, Lance Mims, Grandchildren, Story, Johnny, Blaine, Tamara, Nathan, Brandy, Danna, Trevor, and Tyler, and
11 Great Grandchildren. The Family would like to thank the many friends and loved ones that have journeyed with us during the last three months of Dad's life. Your visits, love, laughter, and tears meant the world to Dad and to us. Thank you for walking this road with us!
