I didn't find out until today that Kent had passed away and am so very sorry. I have such fond memories of our friendship starting in 7th grade, continuing through four years at Warren Township High School, and two years at Northern Illinois University. We last saw each other at our 50-year high school reunion and am so sorry we lost touch. The other entries show the positive impact you made on your students just as you did for your classmates so very many years ago. Know you are brightening up heaven as well. Your wonderful smile and winning laugh are sorely missed, dear friend..

Mr. Bristol greatly influenced my love for art. I was blessed to have him as a teacher for many classes during my years at Willowbrook. May God comfort his family and all those who knew and loved him.

Thoughts and prayers for KB's family, friends, former students and staff. He was a great art teacher. I was fortunate to have him during my time at WBHS for several classes. I'm glad he could share his passion for so many years and touch so many young lives. We need more teachers like him. Art is so important.
I know he will be missed by many.

Mr. Bristol was amazing and taught me that it is more beautiful and natural to not be perfect. A lesson I think of all the time. Some teachers stick with you forever and he is certainly one. Peace to you Mr. Bristol and your family too.
