I have known Kerstin, as my older sister's good friend, since high school. Though I didn't see her often, she was always a constant, and as we got older, a necessary addition to any big party, be it a summer bash, or my nephew's birthday parties. She was funny and generous, as well as a good and interested listener. I am sad that she's gone, but so glad to have known her.

She truly was a great gift to all of us who knew her. DSS will never, ever be the same. We were graced by her presence and for that we are eternally grateful.

Humor, intelligence, kindness, loyalty...Kersten possessed all of these. She was a wonderful supervisor who has been, and will be, missed.
Peace to all Kersten's family & friends. Pier-Anna
