I also knew Kim through Facebook, but we did go to high school together. She left a lasting impression on me of a strong opinionated woman with a compassionate heart who will be missed by all who knew her. To her family, I wish you strength during this difficult time and will pray for God's grace to be with all of you and especially for Kimberly as she enters into eternal life at the Lord's table.

My world is a bit less bright without Kim's unending optimism. She will be forever a part of my heart.

Some of my fondest memories were driving to La Jolla Shores with Kim and Michelle after she got her license, making root beer floats at slumber parties, and toilet papering houses in our wild days! Kim, your special spirit will be missed but you and MIchelle have a lot of planning to do before I get there! See you my friend!

I really only met Kim on Facebook even though we went to school together. We had very different views on a few things and had some feisty discussions, but also had great fun with our common love of positive proverbs, humor of all varieties, and anything animal related. I was fortunate to spend a day with Kim at her home after her amputation and was touched by her strength and independence in the midst of great adversity. I had observed this in her writings on Facebook but to see, in person, her spirit and tenacity still alive and well after so many years of pain and illness was quite admirable. I will miss seeing her green light on Facebook but I hope she's busy dancing in heaven with her sister and her kitties. My condolences to her mother and all of her loved ones.
Rest in Peace, Kim.

To Kim's Family: I am so glad I got to know Kim after we got out of high school. Her shining example of maintaining a great attitude, while dealing with all of her health issues, was admirable. She will be another angel to watch over us.

Pat,
Thinking of you and sending the blessings of God your way. It was nice to talk with you Sunday....after all these years.
So hard to understand why we as parents lose our children. Knowing so well the pain you must feel today. Thank you for always being so good to my daughter Jessica.
They are all now home and free from pain.
Take care my friend.
