A Celebration of Life service for Kimberly Dianne Dominy, 45, of Zavalla, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 30, 2017 in the Fellowship Hall of Solid Rock Missionary Baptist Church in Zavalla, with Vernon "Rusty" Dominy and Joseph "Joey" Cross officiating. Special music will be rendered by Joseph "Joey" Cross. Kimberly was born December 14, 1971 in Woodville, Texas, the daughter of the late Karen Dianne (Malik) and Danny Joe Dominy. Kimberly was born December 14, 1971 in Woodville, Texas, the daughter of the late Karen Dianne (Malik) and Danny Joe Dominy. She passed away Monday, December 11, 2017 after a brave battle with cancer.
Kimberly was a beloved daughter and sister. She was very family oriented and was a "Momma's girl". She was sociable, a protector to all she loved, and was a warm, caring person. Kimberly worked in daycare and was very passionate about working with children. She also enjoyed bunko and crochet and was very crafty.
She is survived by her sisters, Tonja Dykes and husband Randall of Zavalla, Robin Dominy and friend Mike Lamborr of Lufkin, and Sarah Hill and husband Ernest of Central; niece, Miranda Dykes and fiancé Drew Jones of Kirbyville; nephews, Tyler Hill of Zavalla and Coby Hill of Central; aunt and uncle, Deidra and David Cross of Hudson; uncle and aunt, Vernon "Rusty" and Teri Dominy of Zavalla; and a host of other cousins, relatives and other friends.
In addition to her parents, Kimberly was preceded in death by her beloved fiancé, Anthony Forbis.
