Kimberly A. (Rousseau) Garringer, age 42 of Fall River died unexpectedly June 6, 2012 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Troy Garringer, to whom she had been married for 12 years.

She was born in Taunton, the daughter of Robert M. Rousseau of Tiverton, RI and Claire W. (Wilkins) Rousseau of Fall River. In her early life she was a resident of Tiverton and was a graduate of Tiverton High School Class of 1987. Kimberly received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a minor in Early Childhood Development from UMass Dartmouth in 2001, graduating Cum Laude.

Kimberly had been an EMT in Fall River, had a home based business with Creative Memories, and worked at a Domestic Violence Shelter in Fall River before becoming a full time homemaker which was always a dream of hers. Kimberly enjoyed baking and decorating cakes for her family, served as a Girl Scout leader and served as Service Unit Manager for the Girl Scouts of Rhode Island in the Fall River area. In high school she created Students Against Substance Abuse, and was known as "Sassy" and wrote an advice column in the school newspaper.

Kimberly was an inspiring mother and wife. She was so full of life and could always light up a room with her smile and her quick wit. She was dedicated to her children and moved the world to insure they had fun times and great adventures. Kimberly was a devoted wife who always did her very best to make a home for her Husband. She also had many "adopted children". She was like a second mother to so many children beyond her own. Her heart was so big and she shared it with everyone she met.

Surviving in addition to her husband, father and mother are three daughters Melanie F., Emma Rose, and Hope Julianne Garringer all of Fall River, her son Maxwell A. Garringer of Fall River, three step sisters, maternal grandmother Patricia Wyatt Wilkins of Taunton. Kimberly now joins her two precious babies Alexandria and Timothy.

Her Funeral will be held Tuesday June12, 2012 at 10:00AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Cherry Place 178 Winter Street Fall River. Visiting hours Monday 4:00-7:00 PM. Burial will take place in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
