Dr. Kirk A. Lee D.C., 55, of Albion passed away suddenly Thursday August 9, 2012 at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. He was born April 12, 1957 in Flint, Michigan to Roy A. and Donna (Smith) Lee. On September 12, 1981, he was married to Terri Jo Deuscher in Bay City, Michigan and she survives. He came to Albion in 1981, and opened Albion Chiropractic Sports and Injury Clinic, PC. Since coming to Albion he has been active as a County Commissioner for District 7 for one term which lasted two years; he served 8 years on the Albion Board of Education; and he spent 18 years on the Albion High School Football Coaching Staff....
Dr. Kirk A. Lee D.C., 55, of Albion passed away suddenly Thursday August 9, 2012 at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. He was born April 12, 1957 in Flint, Michigan to Roy A. and Donna (Smith) Lee. On September 12, 1981, he was married to Terri Jo Deuscher in Bay City, Michigan and she survives.

He came to Albion in 1981, and opened Albion Chiropractic Sports and Injury Clinic, PC. Since coming to Albion he has been active as a County Commissioner for District 7 for one term which lasted two years; he served 8 years on the Albion Board of Education; and he spent 18 years on the Albion High School Football Coaching Staff. He was a member of Duck Lake Country Club; Albion Chamber of Commerce; and the First United Methodist Church all of Albion. He was a member of the Palmer College of Chiropractic International Alumni Association in Davenport, Iowa and Its President from 2002-2004, receiving the honor as Fellow of the Palmer Academy of Chiropractors in 2004. He was on the Faculty of Palmer College of Chiropractic; Parker College of Chiropractic, and Foot Levelers, Inc. He was the Michigan Chiropractor of the Year in 1998; the 2010 recipient of the Pioneer Award for continued services to his profession on a state and national level. He was the Chiropractic representative to BC/BS Blue care Network profile committee; and Acting supervisor and Committee Chairman of the Chiropractic Federal Credit Union. His Professional memberships include American Chiropractic Association; ACA Sports and Fitness Council; Palmer Alumni Association; Michigan Association of Chiropractors, serving on the legal affairs, insurance relations and continuing education committees.

Besides his wife Terri Jo of Albion, he is survived by 2 Daughters Elexis Lee (Matthew) Meloy of Tampa, FL; Elyse Christina (Fiancé Thomas Joseph Swope III) Lee of Albion; 1 Grandson Dylan Matthew Meloy; his Mother Donna Lee of Vassar, MI; 1 Sister Kim (Kevin) Hamilton of Vassar, MI; 1 Brother Karl Lee also of Vassar, MI; and many Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. He was preceded in death by his Father Roy A. Lee.

According to his wishes, Cremation has taken place and their will be a Memorial Service Saturday August 18, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Goodrich Chapel, 201 N. Ingham St. Albion, MI 49224 with Rev's Jeremy Williams and Terry Bobzien officiating. Family will receive friends at Goodrich Chapel on Saturday August 18, 2012 from 9:00 A.M until Service time.
