Kristina was born on Feb. 15, 1956 in Kansas City, MO to Alfonse and Carolyn (Copowycz) Muehlberger. For more than 30 years she worked at Al Muehlberger Concrete Construction Company. Kris was a mother, wife, sister, aunt and friend but most importantly she was the best Mamoo around. She loved her family endlessly and unconditionally. When her girls were young she spent most of her weekends cheering them on at softball games. As the girls got older, her pride and joy Luke became the star of the show while the whole family spent their weekends watching him ride dirt bikes and play Friday night football. The love and support Kris gave only grew with each grandchild that arrived, attending as many of their activities and events that she possibly could. She cherished Sunday dinners at her house and Black Friday shopping with her girls and she was unbelievably proud when her son Luke became a Shawnee firefighter. Kris was the true definition of what a mom and grandma should be. She spent many years working hard in the field but her truest joy came from giving love to everyone around her. She built a tight knit, loving family that truly enjoys spending time together. She loved her husband, her kids and her grandkids fiercely and they will carry on her legacy with the same love and strength they were given. We will make you proud, Mom. We love you always and forever. In addition to her parents, Kristina was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Copowycz; brother, Tommy Pat Muehlberger; and brother-in-law, Tom Langley. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, William; son, Luke (Sarah) of Mission KS; daughters, Leslie Doolin (Scooby), Carolyn Macan (John), Christy Cothren (Phillip) all of Roeland Park, and Lisa Ramsour (Casey) of Gardner; brothers, Al Muehlberger (Sis), Bobby Muehlberger (Sindra), Billy Muehlberger (Gloria), Mike Muehlberger (Cindy), and Dan Muehlberger; sister, Mary Ann Langley; grandchildren, Baylee, Nathan, Leksi, Johnny, Brooklynn, Bo, Kelby, Brody, and Gracy.

I met the family through softball over 27 years ago. Chris was a pleasure to have as a devoted, supportive parent of Christy Ramsour. Her entire family attended our many tournaments, fund raisers, always willing to go the extra mile.
We have many super memories of those years. Thank you Chris, you will be missed by many.

Life doesn't make sense at many moments in our life. The pain we go through when we lose someone we love never goes away, it just fades. Please keep your heart open to the many gifts of love you will be receiving in the near future. Krissy was a fabulous person, friend and mother. I will miss her deeply.

Having been through this kind of loss myself, there are no words enough to fill the ache in your hearts. Chrissy always had time to talk to Ron. He enjoyed her sense of humor and her "tell it like it is" attitude. My condolences to all who loved her and will miss her in their life.

Kris was my best friend growing up, we were inseparable. We walked to school everyday, played at each others house all summer long, went sled ridding down the hill, went bowling in the Plaza and yes we would get into trouble. Thank heaven for her sister MaryAnn she would always take care of us. My heart and prayers go out for Kris and family.
