Awe...my boy Kris. I loved you as a son. My heart is very sad. When I lost my son Joe, next morning you rushed into the shop with much distress on your handsome face. With giant strides across the floor you reached for me and hugged me then looked straight in my eyes saying, "I'm so sorry, so sorry..Its hard for me to believe" So, to your family I give my heartfelt sympathy.

I met the Silva family in my home town Big Bear. I was the family snowboard instructor and in turn they taught me to race motocross. Kris was a good kid, though very stubborn no matter how hard I tried to get him to snowboard he refused. Kris loved his Skis and that was all he was interested in. I'm sure the kid I knew was just as stubborn as a man. I picture in my head now Kris tearing up the clouds in heaven on his two planks and I wouldn't have it any other way. Ride on brother.
