Kwong passed away peacefully at the age of 82 on Saturday, May 26, 2012 after complications with his heart and a battle with cancer. After moving to Canada in 1984, Kwong lived a simple life, dedicating most of his time helping raise his grandchildren. Later in his life, his children and grandchildren would return this kindness and watched over him with love. His neighbours will remember him for his happy spirit, his smile on his face and the simple "hello" he always said. Kwong faced life with strength and courage.
