Rev. Lomer Davis Green, Lomer was born in Laurel, Miss on October 7, 1921 to David and Daisy Green. He went to be with his beloved wife, Dorothy, of almost 60 years on March 26, 2014. He is survived by his four children; daughter Beverly Vincent and her husband Vince of Center Point, TX, daughter Marie and her husband Philip of Lubbock, son Fred of Longview, TX and son Lomer Davis Jr and his wife Brenda of Midland. He is survived by eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Memorial services will be at Redbud Baptist Church at 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning with Pastor Shon Wagner officiating. Rev. Rev. Lomer Davis Green, Lomer was born in Laurel, Miss on October 7, 1921 to David and Daisy Green. He went to be with his beloved wife, Dorothy, of almost 60 years on March 26, 2014. He is survived by his four children; daughter Beverly Vincent and her husband Vince of Center Point, TX, daughter Marie and her husband Philip of Lubbock, son Fred of Longview, TX and son Lomer Davis Jr and his wife Brenda of Midland. He is survived by eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Memorial services will be at Redbud Baptist Church at 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning with Pastor Shon Wagner officiating. Rev. Mike Bartlett of Odessa will officiate at graveside services at 3:00 p.m. at the Kermit, Texas Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. Friday at Resthaven Funeral Home. Lomer was licensed and ordained by First Baptist Church in Midland in 1946. Lomer was called to the West Texas area where he pastored at First Baptist Church in Ft. Hancock, Loma Terrace Baptist Church, Skyline Baptist Church, and Tigua Baptist Church all in El Paso, TX. He Retired in 2012. He moved to Lubbock in 2005 after the death of his wife, Dorothy. He loved his Lord, family, friends, football and golf. He served the Lord for 67 years. To God be the Glory – what a ride!
