Uncle Lawrence ~ I couldn't have asked for a better uncle. I cherish my memories of how you were always there for us, especially when we were young and fatherless, sharing with us your time, love, wisdom, and support. You continued your quiet, gentle ways of family devotion through the years, cheering us on at graduations, sharing in holiday dinners, and helping Mom with home repairs. I especially treasure the day you walked me down the aisle at my wedding - walking in the place of my father. What a blessing you were in my life! I love you, Uncle Lawrence. Rest in peace.

Dear Lawrence,
You were a great uncle to all of us kids and an enormous help and comfort to our mother when our daddy passed away so young and so long ago. I know she would not have faired as well if it had not been for your presence in our everyday life.
You, Grandma and Snoopy joined us for holiday meals, special celebrations and just to say hello. You repaired our TV along the way and fixed a loose wire or two on my little transister radio. It's the little things in life we should always be thankful for and the people who we share them with.
But it's when you reached out to our mom and offered a car ride up to the cemetery each year so she could honor her husband's memory with the flowers she grew...I hope you knew what a blessing that was - a small gesture on your part but a lasting show of love towards her and our family.
As time passed, when I saw you I saw my daddy and thought how he would be so proud of you for taking care of his family.
Now, just as our mother has gone to be with her loved ones in heaven, you have joined your beloved mother and brothers. As we mourn our losses, we have the hope and promise of our Lord knowing we will all be together one day.
We love you Uncle Lawrence

I did not know Larry well, but every interaction I had with him was pleasant and enjoyable. He was a good neighbor and will be missed.
