CHOVANCE, Louie Stanley (SGT. LOU) - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family on April 4, 2014 in his 85th year. Cherished and loving husband of Betty for 64 years. Proud father of Debbie (Paul) Tessier, Sharon (Glen) Guite, Pamela (Nick) Christou, Jeff (Joanne) Chovance and predeceased by daughter Patti and son Brian. Dearly missed by his grandchildren Jennifer, Lindsay, Cameron, Candice, Courtney, Dustin, Meaghan, Katelyn and Erik. Great grandchildren Jonathan, Stephen, Damon and Jordan. Louie was a retired Hamilton Wentworth Police Officer serving the community from 1950-1985. Special thanks...

Dearly missed by his grandchildren Jennifer, Lindsay, Cameron, Candice, Courtney, Dustin, Meaghan, Katelyn and Erik. Great grandchildren Jonathan, Stephen, Damon and Jordan. Louie was a retired Hamilton Wentworth Police Officer serving the community from 1950-1985. Special thanks to the staff of Willowgrove Long Term Care Residence for their ongoing care over the past three years, and the staff of Juravinski Hospital - Express Unit for their compassion and support. Visitation for Louie will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME 322 Fennell Avenue East on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
