La Verne Bernice Wolff of Pasadena, TX (93), passed away peacefully at home January 26, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents Otto and Hilda Wolff, her sister Lillie Wolff Linton and her husband Claude Harold Linton. She is survived by her sister, Mariam Flower; niece, Pamela Wood; nephews, Douglas Craig Flower, Byron Kurt Flower, and Eric Linton, as well as the many great nieces and nephews and their children. Ms. Wolff was born August 11th, 1924 in Burton, Texas and graduated from LaGrange High School in 1942. She retired from the Port of Houston in 1986 after 28+ years. She was a beloved aunt, sister and friend. She spent her retired time with her family, volunteering, planting flowers and dedicated member of Peace Lutheran Church in Pasadena. La Verne had a huge heart and a kind soul; helping everyone that needed assistance. She was a faithful and kind friend who will be missed deeply by all who were touched by her.
