Anderson, LaVerne D. "Bill" "Andy" Finally found peace Saturday, January 25, 2014, at age 84. He joined his daughter Nancy, in heaven. He is survived by his best friend and love of his life Lois (Nee Ekleberry) of 60 years. Proud dad of David (Jori) and Lisa Anderson. He was the best grandpa of Heather (Adam) Ewing, Jean (Jim) Haberichter, Emily, Nathaniel and Kylie (Brandon) Mollet; and great-grandpa of Dylan and Mercedes. Brother of Lois "Andy" Diehl and Lenis (Mary) Anderson. Preceded in death by brother Levi and brothers Lyle and Leland. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. ...

Finally found peace Saturday, January 25, 2014, at age 84. He joined his daughter Nancy, in heaven. He is survived by his best friend and love of his life Lois (Nee Ekleberry) of 60 years. Proud dad of David (Jori) and Lisa Anderson. He was the best grandpa of Heather (Adam) Ewing, Jean (Jim) Haberichter, Emily, Nathaniel and Kylie (Brandon) Mollet; and great-grandpa of Dylan and Mercedes. Brother of Lois "Andy" Diehl and Lenis (Mary) Anderson. Preceded in death by brother Levi and brothers Lyle and Leland. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran during the Korean Conflict and a long-time member of Apostle Presbyterian Church. He retired from the Miller Brewing Company in 1994, after 47 years.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2014, at APOSTLE PRESBYTERIAN-1509 S 76th St., West Allis, at 6:00 PM. A Memorial Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until the time of Service. Interment will be held on Sunday, April 6, at Basswood Cemetery in Basswood, WI, at 1:00 PM.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials to the Milwaukee Blood Center, Apostle Presbyterian or MCW Parkinson's Program, appreciated. Special thank you to Mary Kepler and Toni Dunn for their care and support.
