Larry Wade Hager, 79, of Crystal River, Florida, passed away on Mon., Nov. 21, 2016 at his home. A native of Perryopolis, Pennsylvania, he was born November 2, 1937 to Wilmer and Mary Ellen (Turner) Hager, one of three children. A lifelong truck driver, Larry moved here in 1996 from Carmichaels, Pennsylvania. Mr. Hager served his country honorably in the United States Air Force from 1954 to 1956 and is survived by his ten children: Misty Jones, Beverly Hills, FL; Wilmer Hager, Crystal River, FL; Colleen Chiovitti (husband Nick), Collette Hager, Kimberly Glagola (husband Kevin), Connie Ritter (husband Darryl), Jeff Hager (wife Tammy), all of Pennsylvania; Teresa Hager (fiance Chris), Jamie O'Shea both of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Joseph Hager (wife Angie) of Ohio; sister Connie Burba,Ohio, as well 23 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hager was preceded in death by his wife of 27 years, Peggy Hager, two grandsons, his brother Carl Hager and a son-in-law, Douglas Jones II. A celebration of Mr. Hager's life will take place on Sat., December 3, 2016 at 12:00 noon at Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa, Florida. www.wilderfuneral.com
