Larry Edward Alexander was born on September 14, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Elzy and Ivy Alexander. He passed away on December 29, 2012 in Farmington Hills, Michigan at the age of 81. Larry was preceded in death by his fist wife Betty, to whom he was married 22 years, and his second wife Virginia, to whom he was married 38 years. he is survived by his loving children Deborah Wrenn, Marlene (James) Kozlowski, Nancy (Larry Meeks) Alexander, and Lisa (Kevin) Alger, Kathleen (James) Bean, Mary Ellen (Phillip) McGovern, John (Barb) Martz and James (Rebecca) Martz. He was the beloved grandfather of 13 and great grandfather of 1....

Larry was preceded in death by his fist wife Betty, to whom he was married 22 years, and his second wife Virginia, to whom he was married 38 years. he is survived by his loving children Deborah Wrenn, Marlene (James) Kozlowski, Nancy (Larry Meeks) Alexander, and Lisa (Kevin) Alger, Kathleen (James) Bean, Mary Ellen (Phillip) McGovern, John (Barb) Martz and James (Rebecca) Martz. He was the beloved grandfather of 13 and great grandfather of 1. Larry is also survived by his dear sister Norma (the late James) Koslow. He was preceded in death by his brother William.

Larry's family will receive friends on Tuesday January 1, 2012 from 4 pm until the time of his service, 8 pm at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Rd. (east of Newburgh and I-275) in Livonia. He will be laid to rest at Acacia Park Cemetery in Beverly Hills, Michigan.
