What a good friend Larry was. He used to drive us to our after school jobs near the Galleria and one day he showed up with a phone in his car (a regular house phone) and we´d sit in traffic with him acting like he was talking to someone! Good times! Thanks for the memories.

My Love, it has been 2 weeks and 2 days since you left. I still want to call you to see how you are feeling, and I find myself trying to get ready to go see you at the hospital...and then I remember. I am happy that you are not hurting and that you are whole again. But I am sad cause you are not here with me. You know what you meant to me and that you are my one and only.My heart aches for you, but I know that I will see you again. You completed your mission here on earth and God wanted you home. And we are thankful for the time God shared you with us. I love you, mi amor...till we meet again.........your wife always Gloria

a poem for larry.....how can we say goodbye..it's been only a few days now since god and his angels called you away ..oh how the angels rejoiced as you walk thru those pearly gates that day..when they said you were going to die .. we refused to believe it could be true.. how can we allow ourselves to even imagine saying good bye to you .. you were an angel on earth we learned so very much from you.. you were so gentle and so kind your smile would always see us thru..you tought us how to love unconditionally and how to be our very best in all that we do you gave your all to god and your family.. never once stopping to think about you ..you were more then you thought you were you were everyones best friend..and a great listener too.we can never say good bye to you because we can never bare the pain instead we will say we love you until we meet again

I am in shock about Larry's death. He was in my homeroom (Mrs. Alexander) at Reagan High School. He was a good friend but after graduation we lost touch but I just saw him again last year at a gathering for Reagan and he did remember who I was and we talked alot. My heart goes out to his family. He will be deeply missed but he will always be in your heart.

Imagine if I was given one moment,
just a single slice of my past.
I could hold it close forever,
and that moment would always last. (AN)
When I first met Larry, I found him to have this love for life. He often wore a smile and when he smiled I'd find myself smiling back. His smile was so infectious.
I thought about that smile then I realized its worth so if you feel a smile begin, think of Larry don't let it go undetected do what Larry loved best.
To Tia Mary and Uncle Julio, God planted Larry in your life. A true gift from God.
To Larry's siblings and family, if God said I will give you this man (name unknown) to be your family member with a guarantee to live pass 53 or this man named Larry who would live to be 53, I know it would be obvious, you would all choose Larry. Wow, what a lucky family.
Larry this one is for you :)
With Love,
Kathy Danas

Tio Larry, these past few days have been heavy on my heart. With each day that passes, I miss you even more. My heart will never stop loving you and my mind will never forget you. I miss your random visits you use to do. I miss hearing the silly nicknames you use to call me. I even miss seeing your "Milwaukee's best" beer and the little cooler you held them in! You were the only one who drank that in our family and that's how I knew you were there already. I miss rubbing your belly and saying " Don't feed Phil" Tio, I love you so much and I still can't believe you are no longer here to hold. Thank- you for all the love you gave me.

Rest in Peace my Friend. although we had not seen each other recently, many times i thought of some the fun things we did as youngsters. The ball games, bike rides, crusing, especially the quinces. Those times were a young fun inocence, good times with our big group of friends. You were there as we all took big steps to becoming men. Sometimes I looked to you as a big brother. You always had the right advise when I had a question. Thanks. God must be getting ready to move big in our world because he just called back a strong angel. THANK YOU my Friend

Gloria sorry for your loss. Larry and I hang out alot when we where young. He would come all the way from the Heights to my house to pick me up and go back to his house to hang out there with his friends.
