Larry Bond Ballard, 69, of Rogers died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012. He was born to the late Delbert and Marguerite Ballard, April 11, 1943, in Peoria, Ill.
Larry graduated from Rogers High School in 1961. He served in the United States Navy from 1966 until 1977, including two tours in Vietnam. Family and friends remember Larry for his hospitality, tasty cooking and sense of humor. He enjoyed fishing and camping on the White River. He held the rank of 32-degree Mason at the Rogers Masonic Lodge.
Larry is survived by one child, Leslie Roy Ballard, doctor of philosophy, of Waco, Texas.
Larry will be buried in the Veterans Cemetery in Fayetteville, Ark.
