Larry Clinton Jones, 61, of Holts Summit passed away at his home on October 25, 2012. He was born June 8, 1951, the son of Dorris H. and Margaret (Sparks) Jones. He married Carolyn Dusenberry on August 8, 1986. She survives at their home. Larry enjoyed all sports, learning about Native American culture, Pow Wows, and spending time with his family and friends. He retired March 31, 2009 from the State of Missouri Office of Administration. Larry Clinton Jones, 61, of Holts Summit passed away at his home on October 25, 2012. He was born June 8, 1951, the son of Dorris H. and Margaret (Sparks) Jones.

He married Carolyn Dusenberry on August 8, 1986. She survives at their home.

Larry enjoyed all sports, learning about Native American culture, Pow Wows, and spending time with his family and friends. He retired March 31, 2009 from the State of Missouri Office of Administration.

Along with his wife and parents, Larry is survived by one son, Brian (Diann) Jones of Middletown, De.; two daughters, Sheila (Joe) Bradley of Clark, and Christen Knehans of Jefferson City; two step-sons, Douglas (Kim) Leffert of St. Louis and Donald (Robyn) Leffert of Las Vegas, Nv.; six grandchildren; and two sisters, Brenda (Bruce) Maddox of New Bloomfield and Glenda (David) Clyman of Nevada, Mo.

Larry's wishes were to be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held October 30, 2012 at 1 pm at Dixie Christian Church in New Bloomfield. The family will receive friends from 10 am until the time of service.

In lieu of customary memorials, the family suggests memorial donations be made in Larry's name to Dixie Christian Church, c/o Debo Funeral Home, 833 Court Street, Fulton, Mo. 65251.
