ADORNO Laura Ellen Adorno passed away peacefully on Saturday June 30, 2012. Beloved mother of Daniel George Adorno, Ellen Ann Donley (and husband, Stephen) and Gail Frances Adorno. Devoted grandmother of Andrea Michelle Donley and Kristen Marie Donley. Sister of the late Theresa Ross, Louis Murphy, George Robert Murphy Jr. and Joseph Murphy. Daughter of the late Annie Roddick Murphy and George Robert Murphy Sr. Aunt of Paul and Thomas Ross. Also survived by other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Mrs. Adorno was a retired Administrative Assistant with the Jefferson Parish Department of Code Enforcement after over 20 years of service, enjoyed traveling and gardening, her favorite flower was the Louisiana Iris and she will be loved and remembered by all who knew her. Aged 82 years, a native of Cedar Hill, Tennessee and a resident of Kenner, Louisiana for the past 33 years. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation 8200 Hampson St. Suite#425 New Orleans, Louisiana 70118 (504-861-4500). Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home Metairie, Louisiana in charge of arrangements.
