Peacefully, with family by her side we regret the sudden passing of our Mom & Grandma on August 23, 2011. Predeceased by husband William, son Donald, parents William and Violet Holmwood and brothers John and Ivan. She leaves to cherish her memory daughters Debbie Walotek (Roman), Lorraine Waluk (Ron), Carol Kemp; sons Barry (Phyllis) and Murray, step daughter Betty, stepsons Bill (Jeannette), Brian (Kaye), many grandchildren, great grandchildren & great great grandchildren.
She spent her early years on the family farm in Medora, MB. She married William in 1943 and devoted the rest of her life to her family.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 29, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres funeral home, with one hour viewing prior to service. Interment to follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens.
The family would like to express heartfelt thanks to the staff of Seven Oaks Hospital. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your favorite charity.
