I am so sorry to hear the passing of Ms. Askler. Our families go along way back. I have many fond memories of Pauline school of the dance and doing shows on the weekends with David in the garage. Lorraine was always so sweet and nice and always had a smile on her face. My deepest sympathy. Thoughts and Prayers are coming your way.

My earliest recollections of Lauraine and Meriam go back to childhood. Lauraine is 12 years older than I, so probably I was a boy of about six or so and they were older teens. They were aways very kind to a much younger cousin. Once Lauraine and Fred took me to a baseball game. I don't remember if they were dating or if they were married. I remember they were my role models, I looked up to them. I know we attended their weddings. After my parents moved from the Flint area to Carson City and Fred and Lauraine moved to TN our encounters with each other were much more infrequent. I do remember each time we visited (usually at some family function) it was always a very pleasant experience. Our sincere sympathy to Susan, David and Sharon, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family members. She was a sweet, caring Lady.

There are people that are truly special who touch the lives of those around them. Lauraine was that kind of person, so kind and loving. She was an extension of my mom - the two so much alike. I am so fortunate to have her as my aunt. She was deeply loved and will be truly missed.

I was so blessed to have such wonderful grandparents in my life growing up. They were always there when you needed someone to talk to. I will truly miss grandma Lauraine and know that one day I will see her and all my loved ones again. God Bless You Grandma!
