Laureano Atienza, age 79, died October 14, 2016. Beloved husband of Gertrudes. Loving father of Myla (Robert) Lee and Edwin (Nancy). Dearest Lolo to Bryanna, Jonathan, Freedom, Madison, and El Auria. Dear brother of Jovita Atienza and the late Jesus Atienza. Laureano loved watching basketball and was a big Detroit Pistons fan. He enjoyed taking walks at the mall to meet and chat with friends. Fishing was also a favorite pastime. He adored his beautiful grandchildren. Visitation Tuesday, October 18, 2016 from 3-8 pm with a Rosary at 7 pm at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Rd., Clinton Township, Michigan. Instate Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 9:30 am until time of Mass at 10 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, 730 S. Lafayette Ave., Royal Oak, Michigan. Entombment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township, Michigan.
