It seemed about every weekend we would visit with Uncle Larry while growing up. He loved his Irish music and was not afraid of what you thought. Who couldn't be pleased to see how hospitable he was when he shared lovely music from Ireland. A real treat was to listen to him play the accordian. It seemed he had a nickname for all the kids and we all felt special. He would always greet you with a kind smile and boisterous hello as he welcomed you. Cohen must have preimagined Uncle Larry when he wrote "Irish Eyes". You stole my heart away"! Love Batman
