Lauretta I. Adkins, 92, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2013. She was born October 31, 1920 in Akron, Ohio to her late parents, Mathew Joseph and Edna Jane Bryant Casper. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Adkins; children, Lauretta Gay Crecelius, James David Crecelius and Kenneth Gary Crecelius; and grandson, James Anthony Crecelius. She retired from GE, was a member of Jacobs Chapel United Methodist Church, Norfolk Southern Railroad Ladies, and was past president of VFW Ladies Auxillary Hobart Beach Post 1693.
Survivors Include:
Daughters: Joyce April Crecelius
Sandra Lee Huebel and husband Richard R.
Sister: Imogene Williams
6 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren
Visitation will be from 3:00pm to 8:00pm Friday and after 11:00am Saturday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be 1:00pm Saturday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with private burial to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
Memorial contributions may be made to Jacobs Chapel United Methodist Church.
