Lawrence Glenn Moyer, age 83, died on September 15, 2016 in Tampa, FL. Lawrence is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Helen Lester Moyer; his children Larry (Joanie) Moyer, Cheryl (Steve) Mixson, and Mark (Amy) Moyer; brothers Leroy, Orville, and Kenneth “Butch”Moyer; sisters Charlene Bowles and Debbie Ryan; grandchildren Jeff, Jon, Mark, Amy, Kristin, and Megan; 10 great grandchildren ; one great great grandchild. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved the Lord and was a long time member of Buchanan Baptist Church. He especially loved fishing, gardening and wood working. He also really enjoyed gospel music. The funeral is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2016 with family visitation at 1 p.m. at New Beginnings Baptist Church in Tampa. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to LifePath Hospice in Tampa. Online condolences may be expressed at www.blountcurrycarrollwood.com
