Larry was a good man, someone to look up to, a hard worker and a patriot. Cancer ultimately won the battle, but not without a tremendous fight from Larry. He never let it get the best of him. He is in a better place now, and someday we shall join him once again. He will be forever missed.

We've lost a friend. One worth our tears. A fellow Patriot.
We look forward to the day we will see him again. Sickness gone. Strong, sure and smiling again. The sorrow of his leaving gone forever.

Our dear Larry. Ditto to what Darcie said. We miss you sooo much. I cannot remember life without you. Thank you for being a wonderful surrogate uncle (and Santa) while I was growing up. For the last 24 years you were our neighbor and our friend. Thank you for sharing your stories, your photographs and your laughter. You were a fantastic photographer and videographer. We are going to miss your potato salad, as it was the best. It is not clear to us as to what we are going to do without you, so thank you for all the memories. Our hearts are hurting. Please give Uncle Gary, Granny and Grandpa all *hugs* for us. We will love and miss you forever. Colleen and Wade Clemons

For the past 24 years you have been our neighbor and our friend. We have shared many laughs, and we will always treasure our memories of you. Give Uncle Gary, Granny and Grandpa a hug for us. We will love you always. Colleen and Wade Clemons

Uncle Larry we will miss you! You have been a part of the McKinney family forever. I am glad we got to spend so much time together over the past few years. It will not be the same at Algona Days, Auburn Good Ol Days Car Shows without you there cheering us on. Or at the lake, so many memories! We love you! Andy, Darcie and Shelby Hanson
