Beloved husband of Mary (McGonegal) for 59 years.

Dearest father of James (Kathleen) Redoutey, Laura Redoutey (Bill Welch), MaryAnn Redoutey, Patricia (Robert) Voakes, John Redoutey & Joseph (Anne Marie) Redoutey. Special uncle to Alberto Gonzalez.

Dear grandfather of James Redoutey, Jaclyn Redoutey, Angela (Garth) Jackson, Robert Voakes, Douglas Voakes, Rachel (Jeff) Rakunas, Ryan (Tara Mandeville) Redoutey, Katelyn Redoutey, Kelsey Redoutey, Maria Redoutey, Jennie Redoutey, Kristin Redoutey, Mike (Emily) Welch & Mark Welch and great grandchildren Owen Rakunas, Karsyn Redoutey, London & Finley Welch and proud uncle of 36 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyle & Helen (Foss) Redoutey & siblings: Justin (Mary) Redoutey, Francis Redoutey, Alvin (Elaine) Redoutey, Rosemary (William) Jordan & Marylin (Charles) Burman. He is also survived by sister-in-law, Clara Redoutey.

Larry graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1948 and University of Detroit with a BBA in 1954 & MBA in 1974. He was the longtime CFO at Bon Secours Hospital in Grosse Pointe retiring in 1990. He consulted for the hospital and its employees for many years and was a proud lifetime HFMA member. He was a member of St. Margaret parish in St. Clair Shores for over 50 years and loved his childhood parish Nativity of Our Lord in Detroit.

After his career at Bon Secours, he helped establish the Center for Good Health, a homeless shelter & medical clinic for women & children in Detroit. He spent countless hours and resources doing what he loved, helping others.

Our family thanks Hospice of Michigan and our home care providers for their help in the past few months as Larry passed away at home as he wished.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to a charity of your choice or two of Larry's favorites: ARC Services of Macomb or Nativity of our Lord Church at 5900 McClellan, Detroit, MI.
