Mr. Slaughter, Mr. Slaughter. Man you will greatly be missed. I had a chance to hear your jokes and your serious notes. You seldomly get a chance to meet the father of your friends and fall in love with him and the family as if they were your own.So to the Slaughter Family your still in my prayers and as much as I wish I could be there with you to celebrate this home going I am there in spirit. He was a great man.

For that I was grateful! I felt as tho I had been in the family the whole time!I have had the pleasure of being around many of your offspring and I must say they are a great bunch!! I will also say that the apple doesn't fall to far from the tree! Thanks for welcoming me into your home and family! You will be greatly missed! GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN!!! LOVE ALWAYS , JANA MOORE<3

Daddy, you have been a jewel to your family and friends here in this land. You have given each of us something different as a good father/grandfather should. For all you have left us with I thank you and I thank God for you. God saw your need for rest daddy and to hold on to your independence. Great is God's faithfulness toward us! Psalm 116:15 says, Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. I praise and thank God for the time He gave us with you, his precious child! Missing your voice, and your smile you will always be in my heart . Elaine, the first of the grands!
