Leda J. Wisor, 77, of Bigler, was carried home on angels wings Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at her daughter's home in York, PA.
She was born on August 13, 1939 in Woodland, the daughter of the late Frederick and Dolores (Woolover) Swanson. On May 27, 1967 she married Abe B. Wisor, who passed away June 7, 1987.
Retired, she worked as an X-ray Technician and LPN at Clearfield Hospital and Geisinger Medical Group in Philipsburg.
She was a member of Bigler United Methodist Church. She served on Bigler Cemetery Association for many years.
She is survived by her two daughters: Betsy Miller and her husband Craig of Fayetteville, PA and Barbra Kefalas of York, PA, a step-son: William Thomas Mackey-Wisor and his wife Mary Anne of Chatham, VA; nine grandchildren: Bailynne, Kelsie and Maya Miller, Nicole Wisor, Abbie Kefalas and Mitchel Kefalas, Joshua Wisor, Sarah Reece and Amanda Nafziger; seven great grandchildren: Landon, Addisyn, Mckenna, Jackson, Bailey, Sophie and C.J. She is also survived by her three siblings: Ronald Swanson, Sharon Swanson and James Swanson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brothers: Leonard Swanson, Claude Swanson and Fred Swanson.
A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday May 20th at Lake Street United Methodist Church, Woodland, PA with Pastor Sean Patrick Smith officiating. A private interment will be held at a later date.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8pm on Friday May 19th at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc.
