Lee Anna Fontenot a native of Napoleonville, LA and resident of Maurepas, LA passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at the age of 71. Lee Anna was very loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a cook at Val's Marina for 30 years. In her free time, Lee Anna enjoyed going dancing, playing Bingo, and cooking for her family and friends. She enjoyed sitting on her porch and watching her roses grow. Lee Anna is survived by her loving husband of over 48 years, Joseph "Buck" Fontenot; children, Wanda, John and wife, Celena, Turkey, and Chuck and wife, Rachel; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters; 7 brothers. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Sr. and Doris Cedotal and sister, Lydia Cedotal. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 16, 2016 at St. Stephen Catholic Church from 9:00 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am celebrated by Fr. Jason Palermo. Interment will follow at White Hall Community Cemetery. The family would like to give a special thanks to her caretaker, Mrs. Celeste Cowart Winkler and Mrs. Lois Delatte. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation in Lee Anna's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital . To offer condolences to the family, please visit www.oursofh.com .
