Harvard-Lee A. Nelson, 79, of Harvard passed away January 19, 2013 at the Harvard Care Center.
He was born March 7, 1933 in Chicago to Stephen and Signe (Olsen) Nelson. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. On November 28, 1964 he married Myrna Clough in Chicago.
He is survived by his children, Lesa Manfre and Lee (Lisa) Nelson, and his grandchildren, Jackie Manfre and Gianna Nelson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrna; his parents; and his sister, Jackie Davis.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9pm on Tuesday, January 22 at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. The funeral service will be at 11am on Wednesday, January 23 at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Crystal Lake Memorial Park.

I waited on lee for a few years at kelleys in Harvard, he was such a great person and I going to miss our sports talks about baseball! And how much he didn't care for the cubs my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family!

Dear Lesa & family...I was sad to learn about Lee's passing. I truly enjoyed taking care of him when he came to Dr. Ahmad's office and the many talks we had together.It is good to know that he is finally at peace with our Lord and his dear wife who he always talked about. He will truly be missed.
