Alexander, Lefterio (Ted) of Delray Beach, FL passed away May 12, 2012. Beloved husband of 62 years to Sandy, loving father of Patty (Zachary), Leah and John (Kathie), wonderful grandfather of Zachary George, Alexandra, Jenna, Jason, Melissa, Christopher and Philip and loving Godfather and uncle. Ted was born in Staten Island, New York, was a two Purple Heart recipient, WWII, and retired from Eastern Airlines, Miami. A visitation will be Tuesday, May 15, 2012, 6pm – 8 pm (trisagion service 7 pm) at Babione Funeral Home 1100 N. Federal Hwy, Boca Raton, FL, church service and funeral Wednesday, May 16, 2012, 10am, Saint Mark Greek Orthodox Church, Boca Raton, FL 2100 Yamato Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Purple Heart Service Foundation or the Wounded Warriors Project (websites on line) or to Saint Mark Greek Orthodox Church, Boca Raton, FL.
