Please accept my condolences on the loss of Ms. Mitchell. Her obituary caught my eye because of her military service. I wanted to make sure her service was recognized, so I have sent her obituary with a donation to register her with the Women in Military Service to America memorial foundation.
Since you included her military service in the obituary, you were obviously very proud of her service. I am very grateful, too, that women like her paved the way for my generation to succeed in the military. Please consider contacting the Memorial (womensmemorial.org) to give them more details, perhaps even copies of photos or other documents, from her service.
